Mt Bethel Free Will Baptist Church is a congregation of people who love Jesus. Come and witness how active we are in each other’s lives and our community. We’re committed to using our God-given gifts and talents to minister to others.

At Mt Bethel Church we are convicted about living out our faith in the neighborhoods and communities we serve, here in Weaverville, North Carolina and around the world.

We have essentially removed the walls and are involved in outreach and discipleship ministries, so that together, we can take the Gospel to a hopeless world and bring lives into direct contact with the living hope of Jesus.  We believe in ministry through the preaching of the Word, sharing the Gospel through music and teaching, and being directed by the Holy Spirit to fulfill the great commission.

We are very blessed at Mt Bethel Free Will Baptist Church and we share our blessings in missionary ministries, both at home and abroad. We serve home missions and local communities, as we focus on schools, veterans, and the homeless and those that are less fortunate. Throughout the regions surrounding us, Mt Bethel participates by partnering with Christian groups that minister within the Carolinas and areas beyond where the needs arise. We praise God for allowing us to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not only in America, through local ministries, but throughout the world.

We are a mission-hearted church and have a love for helping and supporting foreign missions in order to follow the Great Commission and grow His church by training local pastors who can remain in their home country to teach their fellow countrymen.

Through various mission trips to the Philippines, China, Cambodia, Thailand, and others, we have seen countless souls come to know Christ as Savior. We have also partnered with mission teams who pastor and teach the Gospel and have served in Tajikistan, Iraq, the Sudan, Afghanistan, Nepal, and others.

Mt Bethel Church has participated in building and equipping churches in the areas we serve, and the number grows year by year as home churches in these countries expand their ministries.  Moreover, we have been blessed to see dear brothers and sisters in Christ lead their families and friends to the Lord.

Even now, the work goes on.  We must continue to pick up the mantle of those who have gone before and raise the banner of Christ for all to see.  We must tell the world about our Redeemer and that Salvation is for all that will receive it.
